The King's Brass -- three trumpets, three trombones,
a tuba, keyboards and percussion -- "the best in brass." From New York to San Francisco,
from Chicago to Florida, from Washington, DC to Vermont -- this 43nd Anniversary Tour
will lead audiences in concerts of worship and praise. We are now looking for musicians
who have a deep commitment to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Rehearsals: 5/31-6/6/24
Summer Tour: 6/7 - 8/18/24 (10x)
Christmas Tour: 12/4 – 12/22/24 (4x)
Florida: 1/3-26/25 (4x)
x-weekly pay (18 weeks total)
Music will be sent to each player in early April so that there will be plenty of time to learn and memorize the program. In the middle of the summer tour,
there will be a five-day rest period (7/15-19/24) to ensure freshness and vitality for the group members. All round-trip travel, meals, and accommodations
will be provided by The King's Brass to each concert location. Players will be responsible for their own meals and travel expenses during the five-day rest
period. Each new player will receive $500.00 a week (18 weeks total) with returning players receiving an additional $50.00 per week for each completed tour season.
Applications will be accepted until March 15, 2024 and should include a brief resume, statement of personal faith in Jesus Christ, photo, audition CD (or electronic
audio files), and three references with phone numbers (to include local pastor). 2024-2025 King's Brass members will be notified by Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
Please forward a solo piece, etude, excerpt, jazz selection etc., of contrasting styles (no longer than 15 minutes) along with the requested excerpts posted on our
web site to The King’s Brass, Box 12347, Fort Wayne, IN 46863-2347 or email to tzimmerman1@cs.com. It will be acceptable to resubmit recordings from past King's
Brass auditions. We will be unable to return recordings. For more information, please look at the group’s web site at kingsbrass.org, contact us at
tzimmerman1@cs.com or call at (260) 625-5324. We are looking forward to working with an excellent group of dedicated Christian musicians this year.
